Motor Swap?
My Question is, what exactly is involved with doing a motor swap? I think I'll need a new computer and fuel delivery and ignition systems, bye bye opitspark, and other things, but I'm wondering if it will be outrageously expensive to drop something else in.
See, I'm considering this because I figure with parts and labor to rebuild the LT1 plus ugrades (forged rods and pistons, heads, cam, intake manifold) to get me to the 400+ at the crank should run me about the same as purchasing a new built motor alltogether. I just have never done a swap and I'm not sure exactly what's involved. Any help is appreciated.
