94 chevy van 350

Default 94 chevy van 350

whats up everyone - i just picked up a 60,000 mile 350 out of a 1994 van and im planning on dropping it in to my 95 v6 firebird. someone told me that the trans that came in the van is a 700r4 but i cant seem to find solid specs online anywhere for a van. can someone recomend a site that may have the information i need? thanks

If it has a cable and a small square electrical plug it's a 700R4, if it has no cable and a round electrical plug about 1 1/8" round it's a 4L60E

thanks - actually called a parts store (cant believe i didnt think of this sooner) and asked them what trannys came in that year, they told me 16 bolt pan was a 4l60e, counted them up and well just say im happy with the result

Everything, Not one thing went as I thought it wou;d. And every time I would buy a part I would end up needing to exchange it atleast once.

I'd say the actual hardest thing was swapping K members out in my drive way with all my tools at work, only had a small set of hand tools to use.
