Cheap engine..how much hp ? Ok I found very cheap vortec heads came from a 95 or 96 chevy suburban 100$ I was thinking of porting and polishing them and put them on my current engine 350ci TPI in 92 camaro and I already got Volvo penta intake manifold for vortec and I was thinking of putting a LT4 hot cam with 1.6 rockers,Timing gear(for supercharge sound),JET stage 3 Quadrajet(I love the sound when the 4 barrel opens in this carb),LT hooker super competition,3.73,LCAs,Panhard bar and my car already got a shift kit,so how much hp this set up can get me? do I need 2500stall converter? with this set up what should my E.T will be in 1/4 ?
That should make some nice power,probably around 350-370,volvo intake doesnt work too bad,might be a little small for that cam,make sure you cut down the valve guides on those heads
