350 tb on a 305

My 90 gmc truck 350 craped the bed.But I found a 305/700r4 for $200 with only 60k miles on it.But it doesnt have the throttle body on it.My question is can I run my 350 tb on this 305 with my stock computer?Or will it not run right.What if I get a 305 tb will the 350 computer run the 305 motor allright?I just need it untill I can get the 350 rebuild and go back with it.Thanks.

Your 350 TB will bolt up and work for the 305, but it will run rich due to the larger injector size compaired to a 305's.

So rich that it wont run right?Will the computer back the fuel down after it runs awhile or will it allways be too rich?

Think i have a 305 TBI laying around if you wanna pay shipping for it but it was on a 350 in a originally 305 TBI camaro so there is no gaurontee it is the smaller injectors you need.

ive put a 350 tb on 4.3 and it worked just fine
