Help for carb istallation needed!
Hi,
I bought an disassembled Impala (350 cui, 1970), therefore I have some problems to put it together.
I also struggle a little bit with my carb, an edelbrock 1406, 600 cmf.

No 1 comes from the transmission.
Where do I have to fix No. 1? Where the arrow goes?
Where do I have to put No. 3 of the cable no 1?
Is No 2 at the correct place? Is it fixed correctly (no4?)?
Do I need a spring somewhere?
Some more pics:

Thanks a lot
James

The top cable is the throttle cable you need a return spring somewhere.
The bottom cable is the trans cable, there were several brackets and cable combinations used. It looks like you need the one that bolts to the two rear intake bolts.
Then to adjust it, it should reach full pull at WOT.
