Ever splice a MSD rev limiter box?

Default Ever splice a MSD rev limiter box?

I have to extend it 2 foot to get it where i want and leave the MSD box where i want it, shouldnt cause problems should it?

On the slow car my stuff is where the pass seat used to be. I had to extend everything.

So you had no issues? I did it and then thought..."Oh ****, i wonder if there will be a problem with being spliced?".

As long as you use the proper gauge wiring (matching what's there or even larger), you shouldn't have any problems extending it a couple feet. We have one in a 1995 Mustang that runs in American Iron that's "hardwired" into the car and has been extended and connected with butt splices (not my favorite, but they work well enough). It's not been a problem in a 500+ hp application.

Thanks man, i went with 12 gauge wire, the wire that is in it is maybe 14.
