Default Oil pan Clearance

I dont post often but I have but I have done the bbc zz502 conversion to my camaro with the bmr big block kmember. I have noticed that the oil pan is massivly close to the ground. Any help, opinions, or anything on this matter will help. Im trying to see if theres an oil pan that will work with the ground clearance or if us BBC guys just have to watch what we are doing when we drive around.

What oil pan are you running? They do make "low profile" oil pans to gain some extra clearance. You can always modify the hight of the motor mounts to let the engine sit up higher if you have room under the hood and above the transmission.
