Default 305 tbi

i have a 92 fbird with stock 305. flowmaster muffler. 700r4 with brand new shift kit. i was wondering what are some other easy ways to wake this thing up cuz after reading about it, 305 tbi has alot more potential than people think. so far im considering;

2 in throttle body spacer
vortec intake and heads
lt1 cam?
ram air but thats definate
true dual exhaust..straight out with glasspacks
long tube headers if possible
superchip..
4.10 posi gears..

...help me out people i need some more suggestions that are cheap and easy. i have another 305 tbi engine also but im taking a 400 sbc rotating assembly and making it a 335 stroker ( it'll still just be a 305 ;]) i just want some more ideas because its more like a " for now " engine and i cant stand only 170 hp lol

Those guys have a lot of stuff for TBI engines.

You've probably heard this before, but for the money you'd put into building a 334 stroker, you could have a 383, so ditch the 305 block and use a 350 as your foundation.
Get the best aluminum heads you can afford. Don't go overboard on the cam and please don't use a dual exhaust with glasspacks (GHETTO). Some 1 3/4" shorty headers and a 3" catback exhaust will work great. If you build it right, you could have a 400hp engine that looks like a stock 305 with headers on it.

Cheap and easy plus modifying cars do not go together. Also, I'm sorry, but TBI is a daily driver engine, not a performance engine. You can do a few things like headers, high-flow cat, cat-back exhaust, LT1 cam, Edelbrock intake manifold, etc. But the big things like heads, a huge cam, etc, just werent made to go with a TBI engine. The biggest problem is the two injectors arent big enough to feed a high horsepower engine. Nobody builds a two-barrel carb for the same reason. The second biggest problem is the TBI computer is very slow and has very little space (only 4 kilobytes), so there isnt a lot to change to make it happy with big cams.

I had that motor in my 89 formula. had a set of worked "416" heads on it along with an edelbrock intake and, hooker headers with banks catback. Also had msd 6a igntion and coil. Car ran very well for an lo3
