The Heritage T/A is a GM show car that was on the circut for a few years..those pics where shot at "The F Body Gathering" a couple of years ago...I thought the car was done very well to say the least ... you are the first person that I have heard negitive comments on this car......oh well if we were all the same it would be a dull world..

I'm not very partial to the ground effects on the front bumper, or in front of the Rear wheels. The front bumper is awesome. I like Russ's Evolution E-1 a little better because it keeps the openings in the front. The Spoiler, I'm on the fence about, it looks good, but I'm not sure if it's my sort of thing. I'm kind of the same way with the vents on the front 1/4 panels. I of course love the hood, that's why I'm doing it, dur! I plan on doing a modified stripe, with the same style Phoenix firebird on the front of the Hood. To each is own, I think that the Heritage T/A just brings two generations and meshed them pretty good.

P.S. Notice I didn't talk about the Heritage T/A interior. Sorry Russ, but

Default Shaker hood

I did the heritage shaker project on my 2000 TA... I FINALLY got a scoop...spare hood (as to not destroy the factory one)..fabricated the duct work, figured out how to mount it...330 in the morning had it so i could drive it to work that day...430 that afternoon, got in a small accident...rear ended some one in afternoon traffic...so i gotta start over. it was great lookin for the 12hrs it lasted!!!

have any of you considered to swapping from the stock type intake to a single plane EFI intake with a 4bbl throttle body and using the same style duct system as the 70's shakers used? im sure you would have to do a little fabbing, but it may be much easier than piping all the way back over to the air box. would probably flow much better too.... anyone tried this yet, or thought to try this?

My bird didnt have the factory air box on it when i bought it...it had been replaced with an open filter k&n kit...the filter fits perfectly up inside the scoop and only had to fabricate one special boot for it, then just wrapped it back into the intake with 4" tubing.

What did you use for a screen on the rear opening of the shaker scoop? I'm trying to find something that looks good. Maybe some kind of honeycomb pattern plastic grill? My shaker is from a 79.
