what i am trying to say is that my car is an automatic...there is no way for me to push in a clutch and make boost...your car being a 6 speed with 3.42 gears and a 26" tall tire has a shorter 1st gear ratio than my automatic with 3.23 and 28" tall tire, so there is no way for me to get into a higher rpm when we are going the same speed from a roll. check out your gear ratio in first and then check it out for a 4l60e...if we leave at the same mph your rpm's will be much higher than mine and you will also shift alot sooner then me therefore reaching your peak boost faster...you shifted your car into second when i was still in first when we raced. but neway i still believe your car is faster than mine from a roll you just havent proven it yet...give it time and im sure you will.

But when you punch it, you car will build boost almost instantly from the big stall as compared to mine lagging behind a good bit. Am I thinking correctly here? Thats all I was saying, because I dont know what your RPM's are at a certain MPH.

It just comes down to cars with different characteristics. Like you said, your car was built for 1/4 mile drag racing. Mine was built with no specific goal in mind, other than be daily driven and fast as **** LOL

You have a sweet ***, fast car no doubt, I was never trying to take anything away from you or your car brotha

oh james with the 350z was the one telling everyone last night that you ran me on your "Low" boost setting....i was like ok man whatever....nobody is gonna come out and race me on low boost...that doesnt even make sense...but neways none of this is really a big deal at all...its all good in the neighborhood.

If the vette was at 2700rpms and you say your were alot lower then him in rpms, what rpms were you at? Also, what speed did you 2 go from?

What speed did you 2 go from? Also, since you say the vette was at a much higher RPM then you were, what RPM were you at?

We went from a 20 roll. Its no big deal though, I think we've talked about all thats worth talking about

If I have my car back I might have to stop by. As of right now I have it in the shop for a trans rebuild and a new clutch.

Yall cant forget about Jerry Gladis first vortech Z06 in the 9's and it is very consistent. The car also has a stock bottom end and is driven to the track.
