Need some help Hi I am new here and I recently purchased my first fbody. It's a 94 camaro with a ls1 swap from an 02 trans am. All I kw about the motor is it has a 76 mm turbo, 317 heads, ls6 intake and cam, ls9 head gaskets, arp rod bolts and head studs, 80 lb injectors. Just the other day I'm pretty sure the turbo blew cause it won't build no boost or anything and the gauge for the oil pump to the turbo isn't registering anything so I'm not sure if the oil pump went out and starved the turbo of oil or what. I am located in western nc so if u guys have any suggestions on what to do or any recommendations on any good shops that are good with ls1 motors and turbo setups around nc , Tennessee , Georgia area please let me kw thanks you!
Do you see oil leaking anywhere?
If you take off the intake pipe, is it full of oil?
Does it smoke like hell while running?
Hows the oil level in the engine itsself?
Is it a front mount or rear setup?
With the engine running, does the turbo spin?
If you drive it like it is, do you hear loud WHOOOSH like you've blown a pipe off?

The car has a turbowerx scavange oil pump and I pulled the oil lines off the turbo and the pump is not working. I pulled the air cleaner off the turbo and the shaft has play and when running it will spin then catch on the side of the turbo and stop so I kw the turbo is bad and the oil pump is not working. Other then that the car runs fine besides the turbo so I'm just looking for a some what local shop to help me out
sounds like the pump quit working and then got your turbo. It shouldnt "catch" on the housing at all. At the least youll need a turbo, find out why the pump quit. You will likely also need a pump unless somehow a wire came undone.
