Default 4L60e engages into drive or reverse when cold or recently started

I have a 2002 Denali and use it too pull whatever will hook to it. I started it to go to work, everything was fine and all of a sudden it felt like I lost 3rd gear. So I stopped to look things over with the engine running and tried to back up or go forward and it wouldn’t move an inch. Turned it off and then restarted it not a minute later it engaged fine and it all happened again! I guessed the clutches were wore out but I checked the fluid and it was way over so I pulled the line going into the radiator to check the pump and dump some fluid! The pump was shooting fluid 6’ I got the fluid back to the right level and tried it again! Same thing happened again! Can anyone give me an idea? Thank you

Transmission wiring harness connector in tight and the correct direction? (Easy to check low hanging fruit.. )

If its over filled and it pumped fluid up though the connector thats a problem.

Proper fluid level is just above the pan gasket.. Overfull or Underfull both cause issues..
