Durham NC inspection?
Durham NC inspection? Hey all,
Anyone in Durham NC and gone through inspection yet now that 20+ year old vehicles don't need emissions inspection in NC (even in emissions counties such as Durham)?
I have an '01 (currently registered out of state) with long tubes and cats, but a Borla cat-back with the muffler bypass. The inspectors in this county have given me issues with mufflers on other vehicles (don't seem to understand that mufflers have nothing to do with emissions).
Just wondering what to expect when I register in NC and need to inspect in Durham... will they still hassle about check engine lights? Aftermarket cats? Also feel free to PM with shop recommendations!
