Up for quick sale. T56 out of 96 FireHawk. Came out of car with 8 miles @ the dealer. Customer complained " trans would pop out of reverse under HARD acceleration" I have spoke with Liberty on converting this trans to LS1 specs if thats what you need. All that is required is an input shaft(170.00) and the front plate(150.00) Im asking 1200 for the tranny as it sits or I can convert it for the additional costs listed above.
TIA!!!!

Its not broken dickwad GM used to replace trannies with ANY issues at all. Now they rebuild them. This tranny is MINT 1200 bucks for a T56 is cheap check around a lil. I can list this on Ebay for 1500 but it now and it would be gone in 2 days...
Anyway, I wouldnt expect a cheap *** like you to understand that

Thats good to hear. The sad part of that story is its not up to the dealership anymore. All T56s, among other specific items MUST be called into a division that handles these cases. THEY determine whether to replace or repair the said item. GM caught on to the tricks being pulled in dealerships and made the rules a lil more tough to bend....
At any rate, 1200 for a T56 with 8 miles on it is a steal.

I see you are still living on fantasy island Mikey...

Actually, picked them up from the dealer last week. Got two of em. Selling one to help out anyone who needs one. Once you see this tranny its obvious its a new take out.
