I think that may have been Jeffrey's car (B18B1LS1). If it had HUGE slickthen it was him. I thought I heard on SCF that he lost a wheel stud or something?

Hopefully he'll chime in here.

Yeah that's B1's car. Someone over at SCF inquired how he did Saturday and I posted the wheel stud prob. He's lucky he didn't loose the wheel at half track.

Yeah, don't let Seventh Gear or Midnight Speed turn you away from BP though, we need more muscle down here. But I did see a Vega getting trailered in one night as I was on my way out. Anyone got any info on it?

~4-5 mph slower than SDR

Dude I dunno what crack you're smokin, but it's some GOOOOOOOOOD **** . No ******* WAY bro. 2-3 mph TOPS. I've already done the SDR vs Commerce comparison years ago when my LS1 was stock, and with the LT1. The slowest I could get Commerce to go was 3 mph, in the dead heat of summer. Commerce is most def. slow, but it aint 5 mph slower

That aside, that lil list you made is what i've been telling you about Commerce for 2 years now. I guess you're just a lil "slow" to figure it out. Commerce blows ***

The white SS would be me. I broke all five wheel studs on the drivers side and the wheel fell off during my burnout! I was just running my BFG's on the motor thank God, if I was on the Hoosiers and the bottle I would have at least damaged some body panels and ruined a slick, or worse yet lost them on a launch. And for whoever asked it's just a 231/237 cam. For Commerce traction seemed really good, I was almost able to hook on my 17" BFG's coming off the transbrake. My best 60' was a 1.66 I think. Times were decent too I guess, best pass was a 11.81 @ 114 spinning just a few feet off the line. The 2.48 first gear and super tight N20 converter I put in really don't run to great on the motor compared to the 4L60E and my old TP4400. But hopefully they will shine on the bottle here pretty soon. Ron has had the Georgia title way too long now!

Sorry I didn't get to talk to you Jeffrey. I got there at 8:00 and had already ran my runs when you started running. What gear were you running? 3.73s or 4.10s?

Blahblahblah..... yeah... I know I'm slow. Just using an approximate # there Mr. Force. I forgot.... you've been there and done it all. I can say easily 3-4mph.... based on MY experience, and from some SDR/SEDW slips I saw from other cars at ADW Saturday, some were "close" to 5 off.....5 may be a stretch for you, but so are the chances of EVER seeing you at the track. Uhhmmm.... my bad... I forgot.... your track is the "Highway"

And..... where's my GAWDAM VOM meter speedy?

Compared to most tracks in the country its pretty darn slow. I have never saw the DA at track time better than 600' and that is on a cold day. In the summer its been as high as 4000'! Just my $0.02 and yes I am ready to be flamed

Ive only been at 2 other tracks in ms...compared to those commerce was slow...but like all tracks it definetly has its lane choice...for me the right hand lane hooks very well. I slipped out in the left lane on sat.
