Exactly, Fade. I could very much afford a 4th gen but I like my 'vert. And I now have a really nice house to put it in the garage.

I appreciate it , fellas. I'm really a pretty good dude and fairly easy to get along with, Thacker's stupidity just annoys me. My thirdgen is a nice example of those cars and believe me, it took a lot for me get that house but it was all worth it. This is a really high point in life for me right now.

Congrats!!! on the house...a wise decision ..I like your 3rd gen too man...one of the techs here at work has a great looking 3rd gen coup..I need to shoot a pic of it and post it..very nice car...some people will never learn that it is not how new the car is or how much $$$ you throw at it. It's about the passion that all of us have about being "car nuts"..the exchage of ideas and the brotherhood of our hobby that make this forum such a great place...

Yes they do rock and since the price of 1st and early 2nd gen cars have gone through the roof you can still find a nice one for a decent price. If you are looking for a project car they are a bargan at this time.

Also consider this: 3rd gens are lighter than 4th gens. Considering yours is one with a T56 and LS1 (if I am reading your sig right), that thing would haul with a cam and boltons (well, unless Thacknut was driving)

Thanks for the props ! Here's one last photo with my other toy , a '95 Chev dually. I don't drive it much because it's a gasoholic but it sure comes in handy for moving purposes, LOL.

nice house, so having a party for the Power Tour there? i not to big on the 3rd gen camaros mainly cause i see nothing but ragged out IROCs. I really like the 3rd gen T/As but that is mainly a Knight Rider thing. i don't think ive ever seen a 3rd gen convert, but urs looks beautiful. the 3rd gen concept in GT4 is beautiful.
