Braselton Bash was great
Braselton Bash was great Had a great time at the Braselton Bash yesterday. The show part of it was bigger than I expected, had alot of great cars out there and there was a wide variety of cars out there too. Meet up with a few GAFBA member up there, nice meeting all you folks. Wish we could have more over there though. Don't miss the next one,,, alot of fun.
Didn't get any new times out there, weather seemed off and I didn't seem to be getting good sixty foots {no surprise at Commerce though}. My best was a 12.376@114.15mph with 60fts in the 1.9 range. My mph was about 3mph down from the Shootout and ET was a tenth or so off. Man, I want 11s BAD! It suxs because I know with cool temps and good traction {I've pulled middle 1.70 to low 1.8s on average}, I could get into the 11s. I reckon it's going to be like when I was trying to break into the 12s, took me forever to do it. Heck I had at least three runs in which I ran 13.01 something,,,, that's suxs bad.
My wife didn't set any new bests in her Mustang LX either but we both had a great time and it was nice seeing ya'll. To those who didn't go,,, hit up Year One's site and mark down the next one on your calender. Got plenty of runs in for 10 bucks.
