Eastern North Carolina I'm new to the Morehead City area, and was curious if there were any car clubs (f-body oriented?), local hangouts, speed shops, etc. in the area.

BTW: there is a new Hooters being built in Morehead City, at US 70 and NC 24. Now that's gotta be worth a trip to eastern NC... just to get a t-shirt from the Morehead Hooters!!
Well, the new Hooters at 70 and 24 just opened, and it has been slammed every day and night this week!! It's gotta be worth a trip to the coast!
Actually, I spoke with one of the managers, and they are likely to have a bike night Wednesday or Thursday, and then a hot-rod night on the other. I guess it's asking too much to have a Saturday night cruise in, seeing how busy they will likely be anyway.
