Default Heads and Cam Done!!!!!!!!!

Finished up a few hours ago and got a baseline tune in the heap and it didn't do as well as I had hoped but we're not far enough into tuning it yet.....

It sounds good....has a nasty sounding idle and pulls much better up in the rpm range......I also got my ET streets and skinnies today and we'll be heading to the track ASAP to see if the H/C helped it out....

Great job!! Next thing you need are gears!!! When I put 3.73's on my H/C car back in the day the car felt twice as fast! It was a huge SOTP difference!!

Congrats Greg. I'm sure Jerry will get the tuning taken care of. Then you can throw the slicks and skinnies on and get some new times.

it will get better with the ls6 intake....you need that big time. We got a lot of experimenting to do. when you get Ls6 intake, i think all the shifts are gonna happen around 6500 and it is gona pick up some good power. The g-tech stuff really shows where we picked up. I may bolt on the DRs and go play with it today before I swap to the ls2 intake again. If I can get it to hook on the street, I wont need to dyno to see the difference. Dave, any progress? We all gotta get to the track soon!!!

I've been driving the car around all morning and it's badass......i can't wait to get to the track....Jerry let me know how that cordless impact gun works.....

uhhh I did charge it I'll try it out tuesday I bet!! I am gonna slap on the DRs ...gtech the ls6 and swap to ls2 intake and do it all over.

I found the exhaust leak....it wasn't the header gasket.....it was the AIR blockoff plate on the drivers side....the gasket kinda disintegrated....
