i like alabama, BUT, i think they've probably over acheived this year with there ranking.
i think the reason there defense is ranked so high, they haven't played anyone yet. i don't hardly consider USC gamecocks a "test" either, no matter what there final standing will be.......probably 6-5, (gamepheasants) and not 7-4 or 8-3 like someother dreamer is hoping for. if they get passed the next 2 games, they have my vote for #3. personally, i don't think we'll be hearing back from you again after this weekend either, so you may as well talk it up while you can.

some of the announcers have said that alabama has one of the most difficult schedule of all the ranked teams (said at the beginig of the year) alabama will win the next game (not even going to say anything about the auburn game, too many things can happen) but alabama will go to the SEC championship!! again mark my words!

I will assume you are good at math, since you are at a vaunted University. With that assumption, tell me why I wouldn't come back after a loss or even 2? Considering you win out this year you will finish 9-2. If we lose out we will finish 9-2. Thing is, though, our opponents will have a better win percentage, we will play more higher ranked teams, and we will not have played a 1AA team. I think I'm coming back, bub.
It helps to enter an argument with a touch of knowledge of what it is you are debating. You look like a dumb *** to anyone who truly follows college football.
On a side note, I do agree with you on the "system". Maybe if last years debacle repeats itself a few times, the absurdity would cause the NCAA to rethink the BCS.

Alabama loses to LSU they fall to what 7 maybe 8. They then lose to Auburn and they fall to what 12 -14(depending on what AU does against UGA). It's hard, with the way the finish off, to put them behind a 2 loss UF(unless they win the SEC) or Wisconsin. It's really hard to put them behind a 1 loss TCU or WVU, as well. I think, as bad as some may hate it, Bama has sewn up a top 15 finish.

My friend I was at Bama from 78-82 and have bleed Crimson since I was 8 or 9. A true Bama fan wins and looses with class LSU got their share of calls and so did we. It was a GREAT game LSU won Bama played with heart and class
Next year we will be at 85 scholarships like everyone else and I will put our recruting class up against anyones......the best is yet to come...ROLL TIDE!
