Need Help With Header Install! Hey guys I'm new to the LS1 world, by the way I'm in Lawrenceville GA, I just got a 98 TA and am ready to start my mods. My first purchase will be Pacesetter LT's, ORY, Hooker Cat-Back, with QTP Electric cut-out. The thing is, my buddies said that there is no way I can install this stuff myself. They insist that to install the headers you must remove the K-Member and probably drop the engine. I have read all the threads on here from the guys who have done it and it mentions none of this. Please tell me I'm not crazy and that this install can be done at home.. By the Way anyone know a place I could do this and is anyone willing to help, I pay handsomely w/ Beer!

I live right off of Russell Rd... By the Shell/Kroger/Eckerd.
As said previously, your buddies are wrong.
You can always PM SS Rally Red & BLKWS6 about install stuff also...

Thanx Guys I knew I wasn't Crazy, Firehawk- I will definately give you a call as soon as I get the parts in I'd say I should have everything in about 2 weeks. Oh yeah, Dre I live right off 29 down by the Lawrenceville Park.
