Question on pinion angle?

Question on pinion angle? I just bought a UMI Torque Arm and wanted to ask how everyone what the best angle is. I have it set at neg 2 degs, but I'm getting a pretty good vib under hard throttle. It is on a 95Z that is lowered 1.5". I may be doing it wrong or it may be to much, they say neg 2 to 3 degs. Help please thanks.
Where are you measuring from? You ARE reading the angle finder as viewed from the DRIVER side of the car..... yes?
You ARE sure you're reading a negative after the math?
You ARE subtracting rear pinion angle from DS angle .... yes?
Double adjustable(top and bottom)?..... (if you adjust from the bottom only, you may be putting the arm in bind under load).
More street than track... ~0/-1*, drag race -2*/-4*

Thanks for the help. I'm using a reg angle finder (not gravity type). But I did not think about all the mounts on the car (all poly). I will try it again and see what happens.
