Hey yall we talked about emissions before, i went to a muffler shop to get my true dual set up built and they said they wouldnt let me leave the muffler shop without cats cause its a 50,000 fine for the guy that built the system and 500,000 for me gettin him to do it. Anyone know where i can just get the shell of a 3 inch cat to put on as a dummy.
50k and 500k, really? damn, gut the cat maybe? there are a few good write ups on the internet on how to do it, but you didn't hear it from me

they could probably find a way to fine me lol oh i have one buddy that will do it, i just dont wanna have to put on cats for the damn VISUAL inspection when it comes time, so why not get fake ones and just leave it, also do your pipes have to leave the vehicle on obdII

there is around here bro, im just gonna hit up my (dirty) exhaust man and get him to give me a diesel cat shell, he probably does 10 diesel trucks a day one of them is bound to have a 3" cat due to the fact that diesel trucks have cats now..... fucked up huh........ well i think he might be able to make a "cat" too, any input appreciated

I have done over 20000 ET in Ga and at this time there is no visual inspection on emission equipment. ( MY shop AVERAGES 38 tests a day) so yeah I know of what I say. On a OBDII test if the readiness monitors are set and you have no codes it will pass. Trending Topics
