Picking up the car the 28th

Picking up the car the 28th Well, as most of you know my old Grand Am's motor pretty much puked in October, and has been at my uncle's shop in Augusta since. Well, after long negotiations with my parents, I am the official new owner of a 1999 Grand Am GT. I am going to treat as my DD, and hopefully save up for a project car by the end of the summer! I love this car, and for the deal I got on it you just can't beat it. And as for the work done on it, the motor was flushed, rebuilt, struts were replaced, and new tires. The soonest my father and I can get down there to get it is Saturday the 28th, so I'll have it then. I am stoked about having the car back tho! And it'll be nice to get that gas mileage and insurance back. A 1999 v6 car on liability is a hell of a lot better in both aspects than a 2006 v8 truck on full-coverage!

The truck was better than the G\A..sounds like a step backwards..least the truck had a LS series engine in it..now you must hang out on the fWD Pontiac forum..

That was the main thing... I wanted to be independent from my parents financially with that stuff. I couldnt stand driving something of their's. And I got a hell of a deal on this thing!

well, just found out a few more things happened and some other personal issues came up, and we're just gonna sell the car. So if anyone is interested let me know! It's a great DD and awesome looking/driving car. Still picking it up Sat. tho
