Can anyone recommend a speed shop in the area of hot springs village that knows there stuff on LS1's
I have a buddy thats on vacation down there and his LS1 ta is giving him some problems and he's not sure if he can make the trip back up here (Chicago) with the way its running. Thanks for the help

Heres the problem maybe you guys can help since im not a expert on LS1's
Car runs fine all day yesterday on the highway 85 + mph. Car sat overnight. Started today, no problems, ran 55+ mph on the highway. Got off highway, running side roads, AC on. Car gets cam surge, slight black smoke, dies. Cool car down, runs fine for awhile, then same scenerio. No ses light. Let it sit half hour, runs ok. Then does the same. Again, but this time with the ac off and no SES light. I checked fuel pressure before he left after putting the injectors on and with the KOEO pressure was 60psi With KOER pressure was 50psi so i don't suspect fuel pump.. im thinking a ignition problem because of the black smoke.
Mods are Patriot Stage 2 heads, Speed Inc custom cam, svo #30 injectors, SLP MAF, Stock TB, Stock intake manifold, Tr55 plugs, Magnaflow cat back, pacesetter LT headers, Walbro fuel pump, Dyno tuning done by speed inc

we don't know. he just bought the car from a member of this site after speed inc finished the work on it.
He did make it to where he was going with the car, it ran fine for the remainder of the 30 min trip this is whats puzzling me.
