Just Brakes... As a lot of you regulars know I am in the maintaince/repair buss. And I always laught at the "Just Brakes" deal where they replace both front and rear brakes for 89.98

They tried to get us for $418 for changing just pads, turning the rotors, and fluid flush.
I had them put it back together and I did the fronts for $14 and the rears for $12. I didn't bother turn the rotors.
I payed $26 instead of $418

But try telling that to a customer who is in your store trying to lowball you with that bs.

Yea, there is a rinky dink shop next to mine that claims 99.99 front/rear too. We get about 2 customers a day coming through our doors cussing that shop to hell because the "99.99" deal is a total crock of ****.
You cannot make any kind of money charging 99 bucks for a front & rear brake job. By the time you've bought the parts and paid the mechanic, you're @ 99 bucks cost or more. That is a mere marketing ploy to get you in the door so they can rip your *** wide open.

Oh I got one for ya... My commander here was about to spend over $1000 to have the front and rear brakes done on his Jeep... I looked at his **** and found nothing needed to be replaced except for the pads... So I took the same jeep up there and got a quote and they gave me about the same price... I'll let you fill in the rest w/ your choice of VERY colorful verbs....
