Im not sure Id run around with those 918's (Rated at .600) for a long time with a cam that has what is it like .603/.609 lift? Id defiantly look into swapping springs. If you want I could hook you up with a set of Patriot Golds. Their good to .650 lift.

Good question, I think its really hit or miss. Sponsors rate them at .600 and comp says .625 so I guess its either or. I personally wouldnt trust a single coil spring with that lift anyways. But thats my .02... You'll be fine, but for how long I dont know. Did you ask TSP about using those with that cam?

 

questions??? I have borla on my car and my headers are going to be in today. when i put the headers on i was considering taking off the cats. Was just wondering if that would be way to load and obnoxious or should i spend the money and buy high flow cats?????

Can you not just go with an ORY on the vette and lose the cats? Keep your Borla Mufflers bc i bet that with the headers will sound good.

 

vettes have h-pipes, they are duals. yeah thats what john is going with, but he isnt going to get his back in time for me to hear before i do mine.

 

Do you even realize how loud my **** is going to be? It has a bad enough drone in the car as it is, cut them off and keep them and see what it sounds like without them and if you don't like it, go back down and have them put back on.

You can hear what it sounds like if you hurry up and help me get them on the beginning of next week

 

Your Borla would sound different anyway. You've got the Borla stingers (bullet mufflers) and mine would be basically a straight pipe all the way out the passenger's side of the car.

 

Your pantywaste's just do it. Who cares about loud. Its not going to be as loud as ya'll think. I have LT's, 3in ORY, 3in pipe to hooker aero chamber muffler and its not even that loud. You open the cutout and its a different story...

A shiriff passed me on highway 280 this past weekend. The speed limit is 55 and i was going 65 and he still passed and didn't even budge LOL.

Did you get long tubes!? Dont use the stock H-Pipe! Get a x-pipe plz! I read up on the cats or no cats thing when i had the car, and i personally would go with high flow cats, because i read that there will be a lot of Resonance in the car, and it will stink like rotten eggs! But if you dont care about that, then i wouldnt buy them because if will save you about $200. A x-pipe w/out cats arent that much, you can get used ones on the corvette forums for cheap. Plus they sound amazing.
