I always get there earlier, see who all is there, walk up and down the staging lanes, and then take my spot up in the stands until it's time to go. I'm usually there with a guy that brings a really ugly 323. He raced a stock C6 which would have been a good race if it didn't start popping vacuum lines on high boost. First time I had been in 2 months. The weather was just too nice to pass up.

 

The 323s? I seen him run a month or so back Idk what day but I remember thinking damn someone actually put money into that crap. Great platform but damn they're ugly lol

His loves his 323GTX. At one point he had three of them. Odd ball little car for sure. Last time he brought it out it went 13.0@111. He changed the head and cams and cam gears and it felt really strong. Friday was it's first outing and it kept popping hoses. Went 4mph faster in the the 1/8 though. It's the troll car. They never see it coming and since it's AWD digs are not a problem. It's actually got a 1.8 Kia Sophia engine from pull apart in it. 16G turbo, Haltec E6K, Snow Performance meth, turbo Miata head and cams. I'll be on the lookout for you next time I am there. Weather should be getting cooler soon and the track visits more frequent.

Ya'll planning a trip to MMP anytime soon?

 

In the past we did a handful of MMP trips. Steele is a lot closer to most of the people I know. Plus MMP's Friday TnT starts really early.

 

Anyone interested in a set of CCW 505a wheels 19x10 with real good tires, treads don't match but the rears are 285/bfg fronts 265/Dunlop. Wheels need a good polish job. I hit one with a mothers ball and it polish up real good. I just found some chrome Firehawk wheels and I don't need 3 sets of wheels $2200.00. Wheels will be in north Alabama Sunday. I'm bringing them back from Atlanta.

 

All I'm just joining and building a 3 gen ls. Can anyone recommend a good shop and tuning in the Pelham bham area thanks.
