Whos the two that about screwed up? We've got a guy that rides with us and hes like that, He'll just fly up from nowhere, no warning or anything.. Ill be glad when I can actually ride back up to par again, we took our bikes to the beach and running down fort morgan road, I attempted a wheelie. Still got some more healing to go before I can do that again, it hurt a bit..

Who did you trade the 4 wheeler to? It wasnt a guy named Marty was it? A firend of mine had an 02 954 that was laid over at steele. He traded it to Marty for a crf450. It only had cosmetic damage.

I still havent been doing much, still building my pit bike track and thats about it..

Aamco downtown will do it for like $350 I think...

There are some good install docs around, you could do it yourself.. What converter did you get?

How do you like the Ls6 intake?

I've got mine, but I just sent off my TB to be ported and probably won't install in the intake until I get the heads/cam here.. Who knows, I may put it in earlier..

Why do you need a shift kit?

I always heard the shift kits put too much stress on the tranny..

Noo!! when you dont have a shift kit and you have a nice sized stall, the clutches will slip alot more than their supposed to causing excess wear on them. Which after a lil while that gear will start to slip until there is nothing left. When you get a shift kit the tranny will shift into gear with less slipping (which the clutches can handle) and not cause the excess wear and tear.

I've already been through this unfortunately.

This is one of these things were your going to get opinions from both sides, some swear you need them, some swear you dont. Ive personally been through 3 stalls, and 4 4l60e's. The longest lasting 4l60e I had with a stall was the stocker with no shift kit. It took more abuse then any of the others. The last one being a Rossler 4l60e with everything you could possibly add and it lasted all of a year. Half on stock H/C/Spray motor and the other half on the 408. Ive came to the conclusion it doesnt matter what you put in them they are still junk and not going to last. Im currently running a stock 4l80e with red eagle clutches and a yank 3400 stall with no shift kit and all is well here.. So if it was me, Id do the stall and not mess with the internals of the trans, you'll just be hurting your self in the long run.

Where abouts you located? Im in Springville which is about 20mi south of Oneonta. Ive got a lift/trans jack/shop and all. If your interested shoot me a PM and we'll work something out. Ive done I know 8 not including the 90 times Ive removed mine. Also depending on the year of your car I could possibly do a tune for the converter also.

I am about to order a set of heads and a cam, so I dunno.. Vig will restall it for $220..
