Default Cost of Flycutting pistons

If im doing heads and cam on the car anyways...How much extra is it to get the pistons flycut?

You can buy a set of forged JE pistons for about the same cost of flycutting/balancing the stock slugs. ~Joshua

Haha thanks guys ill go with the $275 the car will be at Vrd at somepoint soon the reason im just flycutting them is i plan on doing a 402 in a year or so. but Ron im want ing to run 11to1 compression which is still ok with 93 octane right? and some prc ls6 heads with the 2.02 valves milled (not sure how much they need to be milled) and a 232/234 595/598 cam. But thanks for the prices guys!!!!!!!!!!!

talked to Mike at Vengeance and he suggested the new trick flow heads which made a WHOPPING 488Rwhp and 430 FtLbs on a 346 so it looks like im going to try and go that way so what i may do first is slap a cam in the car and continue saving for the heads because i wouldnt have to fly cut for these heads But a big thanks to Mike for helping me out with some questions i had.

You are going to need a 90\90 combo too ... to make those numbers a long with the heads and cam and all the bolts ons ...

Yeah, you only get a true 488rwhp out of a N/A 346ci by throwing the entire parts catalogue at the car.

480+ rwhp is usually not obtainable without the 90/90 combo and really good tuning. Good heads can only flow so well, but it's up to the intake to feed them.
