save fred foundation Fred is a dog who got abandoned when the renters next door got evicted over at my parents house. They were section 8, and lowlives who didn't take care of their dog.
He got into some folks trash, before my dad started feeding him.. and the neighbors finally caught him today, and abused him terribly. The pound picked him up, and now he will be put to sleep if he is not adopted. He was labeled as aggressive, simply because he was trying to protect his life as the neighbors kicked him as hard as they could (pieces of ****).
He is extremely ridicolous friendly.. he is shy, but once he knows you he is very loyal. He is not obnoxious, he is well mannered and doesn't jump on you or act all crazy. To be honest, my parents want to adopt him, but they have $1500 in yorkies (less than 5 lbs) they are afraid that he is so large he might accidentally cause harm to them.
He is a german shephard mix of some sort, brown/black and probably weighs about 40lbs. I'd label him as a midsized to large dog, but not huge by any means.
Me and my wife might adopt him just to try to find him a home and keep him from dying, but we have 2 huge dogs right now that are inside dogs, that we have a real rough time with as we work alot of hours and they are alone frequently.
So if anybody is looking for a dog, please consider Fred.. he is cute dog, and you could possibly save his life. He is currently at the clayton county pound in jonesboro.

.. I hope that someone will save this critters life..sounds like a classic case of bad things happening to a good dog..good luck to Fred finding a loving home..

I have had dogs all my life, but being single at this time and at work 11 hrs. a day has kept me from having one at this time. I am looking into getting a fencened in back yard this summer and hope to enjoy having a dog again, saddly not in time to help out right now dammit.

This is fred. Looking at him again, I'm not sure what kind of dog he is.. I've got some more pics of us playing in the front yard. I will get loaded eventually. Somebody come get that boy. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if he has been adopted yet.
