Old-school brake experts?
It took a little time for me to realize this, but i had no idea that these trucks had something called a proportioning valve? I wasnt able to get it off cleanly, so i ended up cutting all the brakes lines off of the valve at each fitting and now i have this old rusted proportioning valve... i found a new one online... but what i am asking is if there is anyone that you all know of that has experience or know-how of the older brake systems with manual proportioning valves that could do this for me, i dont really know about flareing the lines and getting these brakes to work properly. I would glady pay to have it fixed or for someone to help, i really dont know what im doing with it... any input would be appreciated.
**also, i know that it could possibly be the master cyl. as well, but wouldnt it cause some sort of a failure to more than just the front passenger brake? i've inspected the lines coming from the master cyl. and it looks to be fine.
