Congrats on the swap, looks good.
It definitely has that "sleeper" look with the flat hood and the 97-98 Vette wheels.

about how much did the motor cost with the top end? did you get the slp package? are they bone stock heads (of course with new valvesprings)

I got a small trickling Oil Leak with it..I made a post up in the LSX section but on one helped me out so if anyone has any ideas feel free to throw them out..
It's coming from the right side, mainly in the area of the Crank Position Sensor. I am goin to Teflon Tape it and make it a little bit better of a seal, hopefully that will stop it.
If anyone has an idea of what else it could be, feel free to throw it out..

silicone the dip stick tube where it goes into the block.
the same for the crank sensor.

Didn't have to, I lined everything up with each part on it before I tightened it down.

Cool..thanks. I was thinking the same myself, I have a feeling that it might be the Dip Stick Tube.

Well I Siliconed them and there still is a leak..where ever it is it's small..but enough to spray on the Headers when it drives.

I ran into a LS1 guy today on Base at the Shop..I was changing Oil. He has a 2000 Camaro SS.
He looked at my Camaro and asked what I had done to my LT1..
I popped the Hood and he just about **** himself when I told him what it was..

It was night, couldn't really see it. It looked black, one of the 2000 area models.
Now that I think about it, it looked like one that I have seen in Little Rock before that was a V6 with a bunch of Cobra stuff all over it. I destroyed it and I was at half Throttle..he was tryin so it probably was him. Not really a big kill..
