Well currently we have changed the "direction" with OUR cars. Our cars are basically designed to be "streetable", and fast. For Example we drove our cars to the Lakefront when yall had the meet. If you would look at the cars, none of them are gutted. the Blue Coupe won the 2006 True Street National Title in the Fun Ford Weekend Racing series and still has a full interior, including rear seat and runs on PUMP GAS. It is just our choice not to still run A/C. Before we changed the combo on the White coupe, it maintained an AOD transmission, power steering, stock K-member, and I Guarantee could be driven to Baytown if we wanted to do that. Oh yea, it went 9's. There isnt a reason "in my opinion" to build a car to drive to Baytown. My Cobra with its old Combo ran very low 10, at 135mph with 17 inch wheels, weighing 3,570lbs, still had Power Steering, A/C, Leather Seats, etc...(ask Todd how Fast it was) Using one power adder. So I have kinda been there done that.

We are finishing up two cars right now, one a SOHC 4.6 with a 6-speed, and a Fox body with an AOD. Both cars will be fast, and be able to be driven anywhere. Also we have a White 04 Cobra that made good power and runs well, and a Silver 03 Cobra with a few bolt ons that can hold its own. So we dont ONLY do Foxes. Keep in mind not every car with an "Outlaw Sticker" is Fast, we have cars that just have gears and exhaust that have the rear sticker. So we dont claim to be the Kings of everything.

Hope this answers your question, and oh yea, if we decided to start working on F-body's they would be Fast too.

dave think he was just trying to make a point that it is hard to put a car in the 9's full race weight factory options older body stangs have a the weight advantage out cars are 3500+ whats the weight of a notch? not sure the weight of a cobra but they look heavy.

ls1pwrdss i would chime in on the 9's with ac ect.. well i do have the the ac ect just not the 9's might have to try and blow my motor and put a second stage

dave seems travose21 wants to race not trying to set brian up with anyone but he seems to be asking for it.. if brians car runs what he stated above he should by no means loose should be easy money. Hell with the power he made car should run 8's guess it just a matter of hooking? i know the irs is a weak link, at least in the gto's,vetts and ctsV

The term "streetable" opens a whole different debate. Anyone can claim their car is road worthy. I guess its all in what you're willing to drive and what risks you're willing to take with law enforcement.

Very true. I remember not to long ago I considered my small block S-10 a D/D no ac,p/s,heater, defroster, never broke down but exhaust fumes in the cab. I'd drive it to Gulfport BR everywhere at 45-50 mph lol Guess I'm getting old now cause i Sure like the ac and cruse control. It all depends on the person and what they are willing to put up with.

typical amnesia. Mitch ran me before i had the turbos. It was from a dig on haynes. As soon as i shifted 3rd we had a spot light on us and red and blue lights. We both took off and ducked off the street that goes all the way through to the church and service road. He BS'd with me for a while about never running a cobra that fast. Refresh him with that.

My car Might make 610 through the auto on the blower and weighs almost 3900 lbs with me in it and full tank so no clue where the car should run 8's comment came from. I made a ton of HP with the turbos so maybe your mixing info up. The bar i put in it weighs about 65 lbs so add that now. Since all this talk of racing is getting thick, i've decided to ditch the IRS. I found a local sale for it today and i'm working on the deal for the built solid right now. I figure why waste 2k on parts for it that might not last when i can spend 2k once and never look back. I told you i'd run you travose in the next week or two. I have to put my new MAF meter in and injectors...make a trip to the dyno next saturday and i'll be out there on 51. I'm always down for a race.

Someone please remind mitch that he got beat on haynes and then ran to the church with me, THEN ran to spur where we BS'd. I think i'm going to have some more people that were there and the 240lb PASSENGER that was with me join up and chime in. Most people never remember a loss but always remember a win

sorry about the 8's comment i was basing this on your 900rwhp comment i know f bodys and stangs are different but in a 3200-3500lb car all it takes is the right set up and around 850rwhp to put the f body in the 8's but like i said before it will be a matter of hooking and going

sounds like you need a rematch with mitch to enlighten him
we all know i have amnesia but mitch...

It's ok, if i was mitch i wouldn't want to admit it either. I'm not here to start **** with mitch, but myself and numerous other people remember it. I actually had to be reminded that i raced him cause i had forgot too. I'll be happy to race you two...but like i said 2 pages ago, i don't give hits, cars, or disable anything i have. I come all out and ready to go. If i have to give up something to make it an even match then it's not a compatible race. We might as well go to test and tune and bracket race. I think someone has the race with me and mitch on video......i am going to make some phone calls.

Lakefront tomorrow anyone? I know the superbowl isn't until late and it's supposed to be in the 70's. I'm gonna try to get a bunch of people out and might have a decent turn out. If the weathers nice enough i'm riding the bike though.

Yep, that was a funny day. For those that don't know, around 2001 my car was running 13's on motor and 12's on nitrous. I was at a test and tune in Hattisburg, and so was Dave in his Cobra. We had never met, and ended up racing each other. I got a jump on him at the light, got close to the 1/8th mile, and saw this orange cobra go flying by me, sideways and spinning like there was no tomorrow. Scared the crap out of me. At that time, LS1Tech wasn't really up and running, so I believe I posted the kill story on the other LS1 board. Dave ended up seeing the post on the LS1 web site and put on there that he was who I had raced and it was nice to see someone who was honest on the message board. We've been good friends ever since. I ended up moving away from Louisiana in 2003 (car was running 11's then), went to Atlanta, Afghanistan, and California. Now that I moved back here, I stopped by their shop to let them know that I still had the Trans Am and it was a low 10 sec car, so we might be able to hang out and race like we used to, but now their cars are in the 8's and 9's. This Sucks!

Spell check next time. You don't scare me one bit. Wait till that car breaks and you buy a 4 x 4 then you'll leach on to that crowd.

I was going to say i'd race you for some money, but i'd rather get my sisters pom pom's and when i beat you i'm going to try and do a burn out with my turd slowbra and you can cheer me on. (now i don't care who you are dat's funny right dere)

You used to be a mustang owner you ****** and always talked **** about GM products. Yeah i said ******. Tammy said you run and hide when she grabs your junk. Why in the **** would you come in here and act like your die hard with your turd and slowbra comments. I tell you what...in all my life i realized you're only as good as the company you keep. The people i hang around are loyal till the end and are there when you need help turning wrenches or someone to hang with. Someone like you who has to try to fit in would be told to Get the FK. When I'm in my lexus i don't go find the import guys to hang with and then shun them when i'm in my cobra. You used to come around and shake everyones hand and always wanted to park and BS with us now because you drive a trans am we're all pieces of **** and you can boo and "thumbs down" us. You sir can go **** yourself.

I got on here cause ya'll had a pretty serious turn out with the cars. I had never seen so many GM's in one place. 90% of them were custom and sounded pretty serious. The lake died down, street races died down, and people are always complaining there isn't **** to do around here anymore. I have tripled the crowd at the new sunday night race spot and people are complaing that there's too many people. I post and call everyone on the weekend to try and get the lake going again. I figured that i could get the mustangs intertwined with the GM's and we could have some fun again and the bashing began. I never claimed to have the FASTEST car in the world. There is always someone faster and we all know that. I have beat the ever loving **** out of my car and it keeps taking it so i'll continue to do so. I have ran for money twice in 13 years since i've been doing this. I do this cause it's a rush and it's fun. I honestly would like to get beat/skull drug. When someone bigger and badder shows up sunday mornings when we go race the bikes and i get beat, i go home and plot/plan what I can do to be faster. The next weekend i'm gunning for that guy again to compare what i've done and how effective it was. We don't ever get off the bikes and want to fight cause that guy has a honda and i have a suzuki. We stop, have a drink and a bite to eat together and go do it again. I guess for 3 years in the die hard bike community everyone get's along there and i would assume the same could be had here. I've known Todd (blue thunder) for years. I used to ride to and from the track with him and he almost had me convinced to buy a TA.

For those who don't like me cause i drive a cobra.......**** you

For those that want to make more friends local that are into the same thing...look forward to racing with you not against you.
