I, too, am surprised that this thread hasn't gotten locked yet. It has turned into a waste of memory space.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
see we all can get along. and for the othe guys giving brian hell back off
he may have something maybe we can get him to swap a lsx in his cobra if nothing else
As far as buying a GM........not happening. They're still pushrod, half the motor is hidden under the dash, and when i had my z28 back in 96 i couldn't stand the HUGEEEEEEEEE dash and nose, and when people got out my car they slammed the doors. They're so damn heavy. I was a GM owner at one point.
Buddy of mine got me into mustangs years ago. When i was shopping for a car when i was 18 i was looking at a black firehawk. It was fine. Hidden behind it was this little silver 91 notchback. I drove the firehawk and liked it. The guy gave me the keys to the mustang and i started it up, had heads, cam, rockers, and full exhaust. It sounded mean and the price was right. I had more fun in that car, was easy to work on, and parts were a dime a dozen.
I gotta give the new camaro props though, they did go retro after ford, but if it looks anything like the model used in transformers, pure sex. I heard they won't have the big rims though. I'm sure it's a plot for aftermarket potential.

4500 bucks for a kenne bell stage 3 kit
850 rwhp INSTANTLY .....with NO other mods needed, except maybe a transmission.
I just read a post on modular fords where a guy just did the kenne bell swap on his 07 shelby. First pull on the dyno at 5200 rpms the shifter ripped out the guys hand and out the car. The transmission locked up, ripped the bellhousing off the motor in 4 pieces, slung the driveshaft and spit the transmission out from under the car. The pictures are freakin crazy. I couldn't have imagined that happening on the interstate. Driving down the road minding your business and damn driveshaft comes through your window and transmission slams into your side cause some idiot wanted to bust on it down the interstate.
