building it to beat me?? someone once reciently told me that you said you will race me any day of the week and will spank me since that cutlas did beat me..does Tammy ring any bells. i dont need to hide my times do a search you will find exactly what my car runs mid 11's just a matter of hooking can you hook? BTW i dont hate you got nothing against you excepth the battle between the cars lol

Cage is going in 2 weeks from now, motor is on the way, and you've seen the snail up top.
Tammy has met me 4 times just because we're two of the top mortgage brokers in the area and she happens to have a cobra. Just learn not to believe everything you hear, it comes with age and i'm almost 30 and know how much **** people like to stir.
As for building to beat you? 2 years ago I had one of the most powerful cobras in the country. I made over 900 to the tires and it was 100% daily driven with a/c, power steering,full interior, and got 28 mpg on the interstate. That is 2 years ago when the king of the street cobra won with 834 hp. I ordered some parts in arizona and the guy heard about my car. Oh yeah, I never even had the valve cover off of the stock motor, STILL 42,000 miles later. I'm just amazed at how much you make your people look bad. I get along with imports, domestics including trans ams, and exotics. I appreciate a persons blood, sweat, and time they put into their cars. You on the other hand just bash, bash, and bash mustangs. Yeah, Mustang older GT's are pieces of **** and i'd never own one. If you have a cobra with a good tuner and plenty fuel...you can make 1200 hp on a stock motor. I'll post pics when the car is done and when you want to race after that it's just a phone call, and no i won't turn off the nitrous and no i won't give cars or hits. I will be ready for fun ford weekend here may 23. I don't even care if i race you or not, but that little cheerleader leech marc or mark that used to have the srt8 neon(hung on imports nuts) and the mustang(hung on flops nuts) is getting crushed. I've got his slowbra. I'll run that sucker right now. He felt the need to boo and

first of all i dont bash mustangs, does the rustang coment or the stangeater bother you change your screen name from autocobra to camaroeater and see how much it bothers me it will NOT. snail is a turbo. Glad i could expand your knowledge. The beauty with turbos is i can leave the line at 8 lbs of boost and have electronics turn up the boost gradually. Hooking isn't an issue. I can leave the line hard enough to not spin and 100 ft out bring on full power. Nitrous is still a poor mans barbaric power adder. There is so much technology out there now. 4 cylinders are running 11's for christs sake.

Long history here. He beat me once in a slick to drag radial race. Old news, and about 4 years ago.
I'm friends with a few guys that post on here. If i'm not mistaken blue thunder is the guy who turned me on to this site. NOt sure if that's him on here, but he used to have a fast TA back YEARSSSSSSs ago and from talking to him that sunday it's been stepped up quite a few notches. Was nice to see some serious power out there and not much bad blood at the last meet.
A lot of people said we crashed the party, but on the contrary we're jsut trying to add to the crowd and get the lake jumpstarted again.

AutoCobra, I can't believe you're going with a turbo again (one instead of two this time). You were just working out your bugs from the Kenne Bell. Oh well, I guess once you experience turbos, it's hard to go back.

Yeah...after we talked a few weeks ago i got to thinking. I bought the auto and put in the car(****** love it by the way) and started buying some more ****. These stock IRS cars are running mid 9's with a bolt on turbo kit, auto trans, and M/T Drag radials. The turbo is so soft coming out the hole and just pulls like a freight train on the top. WHen i had the twins on the car i could annihilate the tires at 140 in 5th on high boost. The KB is fun, but it's so violent and unforgiving at the boost i'm making. I didn't break a rear end until i put the kenne bell on, then when it broke it was so bad i had to beat the Diff out with a sledgehammer.

Does Anyone know where can I get Engine mounts to fit a Ls1/Ls2 motor in a Last yr model "87 cutlass ? Can I mount a 4L60E with one of the special crossmember for gbodies from www.crossmembers.com? Thanks!
