NC SC Peeps in here please. Hey guys, heres the scoop. The lease for my house in CT for my roomate and I is up thiscoming september. We are planning on relocating to the carolinas. We are in research mode big time. We want to live on or very close to the coast line and near some beaches/clubs/ basically near civilization. Those of you who live in these areas could you please chime in and tell me a little about yourselves, the climate,people,activities to do, drag strips, ...entertainment really. we are paying 1750 a month for our place up here and have been looking at houses down there and they are a fraction of the cost. I understand the pay for jobs is less down there but would also like to hear about job opportunities typical pay scales etc... Any advice or input would be fantastic to hear about. pictures etc are also very welcome. Thanks guys i look forward to hearing what you guys have to say!

I lived in Myrtle for about 4 year in my 20's and loved it. If your single and enjoy the party life it might be a good place for you to look. Hell my old roomie still lives down there and is in the real estate business so if he can be of service let me know. There's an 1/8 mile track 10 mins from there and a 1/4 2 hours from there.
Also might wanna check where I live on Lake Norman. Beautiful lake and Charlotte has some pretty good night life. Lake is pcked during the summer months. Beaches are 3 1/2 hours away mountains are 2. Good luck

Go to myrtle beech during to off months and it's seems to me like a ghost town. It's a great place to visit, but I personally couldn't live there. Charlotte has got to have the best year round nightlife and more/better job oppertunities.
