IMO, One class should be like street radial, 200treadwear and no power adders and the other should be whatever floats your boat, stock suspension with no minitubs.

Really to me, what I see, there is one ford guy upset and a few LS1 guys upset because they are trying to race daily drivers in heads up dragracing. Look at nearly every heads up class in the country, I dont see many daily drivers.

The EFI class was designed for daily drivers. IMO a daily driver isn't a powerglide or turbo 350, 400 in a new model vehicle (that becomes a race vehicle) again that is MO. I think the drag radial part of the second class is good because most of us run drag radials on are cars everyday.
