Almost done

Ok heres the thing now, i just put on the new w/p and thermostat and antifreeze let the car run for about 10 mins. but the only thing is now its still running hot. is there a sensor or something i have to check or something i have to reset?

may still have an air pocket. what i do is run it till it gets up to temp by the guage and shut it off. let it heat soak then crank again. may not have enough hot water to the thermostat for it to open.

i'll try that cause i let it run for and the temp went up til the check gauges light came on.

F bodys are known for getting air trapped in the cooling system. Anytime you drain coolant you have to work the air out. It's from the position of the radiator it's hard for the air to work itself out
