deal? so my buddy is selling me his h/c package with underdrive pulley.

double valve springs
pushrods
all the supporting mods basically
and the 25% underdrive pulley for 1200 is his asking price.
good deal or not? never been abused, absolutely 0 passes.
my other buddy has a vig. 4000 stall that has maybe 10 passes on and he wants 300 for it. it has been re-stalled from 2300 or some ****.what do yall think of these deals? i think there great personally!

0 Passes, but how many miles. Looks like good deals on both sides of the house. You are definitely saving money on the converter. You can send it in to Vigilante (Precision Industries), and they will inspect it to see if it needs rebuilt. A complete rebuild (which it probably doesn't need) will only run about $230 and is a 7 day turn around. So, if you did that, you would be spending about $500 instead of $700 and have a "brand new" converter stalled to whatever you want.
Oh, by the way, the cam is probably 238/240 instead of 340.
