Just bought a Z28 Hello everyone. I have been lurking this site for a while now, and finally bought myself a fbody. I bought a 2001 Z28, and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to meeting and learning from everyone on this board.

Yea that was a dealership picture from the internet. I just gave her a bath and man is she pretty. My mom is out of town with the digital camera so I couldn't take pics today. I will get some soon. And the modding thing, I can't wait. So much potential!

Congrats on the Pewter Z28.
I still regret that I didn't buy that factory freak 2002 Pewter Z28 I test drove in Arlington TX Chevy Dealership. It was a 6 speed with traction control. Cherped all the gears up to 4th and grunted hard in 5th till I let off at 120...and the traction control was ON!

This car is pretty much the fastest thing that I have ever owned. I can't wait to have money to start modding. Thanks for the kind words

Thanks guys! It is a blast to drive. I want to get some headers but I don't know which ones to go with. It already has a Magnaflow exhaust system on it. So I think headers would be a good thing to buy first?
Arh I went with American Racing Headers.... I love 'em.
They are a little less expensive than Kooks, but just as nice.
I would do headers and a tune. And again, you need to contact Mike (WS6FirebirdTA00) for the tune.... he is the best around.

Thanks for the advice man. Yea I was looking at Kooks or ARH but they are just so expensive. I was thinking Pacesetters or something. And I will contact him on the tune when I buy the headers. Thanks man
Pacesetter is a great budget header... so you'll be fine with those.
