Default New stock short block record?

Not for sure but he went a 5.82 at 119 in the 1/8 on a 275/60 DR. With a stock 6.0 truck motor and a gt47-88. That was with 10psi. Even if it isnt, Im proud of you guys for getting it done. Think what that bitch will run with its *** on fire.

Yeah, the little mixed up S10 did pretty good this weekend. Stock '05 shortblock with a cam and outta the box L92 heads.

I even outran Shane Stack on that pass... 1st rd of Qualifying but still LOL.

1.36 60'
3.77 330'
5.82@119.52 660'

We were #7 qualifier in EZ Street, out of 9 cars. In the 2nd Q rd I must have hit the transbrake button after shifting becuase it banged like it was lean (or rev limiter) so going into elims we moved the transbrake button and added 7psi of base pressure. The extra fuel pressure slowed it down but the moved transbrake button helped me cut a personal best 450 light on the 400 tree, which was a little better than the guy in the other lane but not enough. He went 5.56 to our 5.91.

On the little 275/60s my first pass was a 1.60 on 5psi, we put the 10psi spring in the gate and then we went 1.363, 1.355, 1.364.

Thanks to Danny from Pro Tire in Searcy for the oppritunity to drive the S10 and to Brian, Mark, Tweak and Roger for the crew work this weekend.

Yep. There were a couple cars from way out in EZ Street this weekend.

Of course our s10 was a "new car", but Donnie Hall, Donnie Davidson, (something) Wilson (white SN95 mustang), Shane Stack (ORSCA EZ Street racer), a square bodied S10 from TX, Chip Pike, another G body, and somebody else I really can't remember.

Yeah Shane Parker's car was bracket racing consistent up to the point I left. I think it went .07, 06, and two .05s

Nice times...

So this isn't the same truck in your sig then?

Do you have any pictures or video of this S10?

Here's the album with the pictures in it. Only video we have right now is of it idling. I think there was some video taken at the race but not sure it was with a digital camera.

Yep! The Tial 60mm Wastegate has an inner spring (5psi) and an outer spring (10psi). We were running with the inner to make sure the truck drove ok. Then we swapped them. We were so tempted to put both of them in but in the best interest of the stock pistons and rods since it was the first race out. We swapped gears last week from the 3.50s (1/4 gear) to a new set of 3.90s to run the 1/8th. I think that was perfect but we'll have to go back to the 3.50s I figure to run the 1320. Not enough engine RPM in that thing to run the 3.90s in the 1/4.

Danny said that he should off put both spring in. I still can't belive it hit a 1.35 60. Maybe those 295/60 will fit on there.

Yeah that motor is supposed to rev to 8500 but you had a 6000 bracket racing rev limiter in it. LOL
