A Powerglide in it would be interesting..it'd be different. Wouldn't be too streetable with it though, that's where the T56 is goin to be fun..expecially since I don't have to worry about the Rear-end blowing up..

powerglide............. lol 6spd would be cool. I always wanted one in mine. got tired of fixing those pos 4l60's. that was my main reason to quit racing mine. I wanted some 8's camonly(9.33 best) at c ville. but just gave up. i had already talked to yank about a 46-4800 stall to replace the 4400 i had. and going to a T rex or custom grind cam.

This is the package that I'm going with..
http://0174de9.netsolstores.com/inde...PROD&ProdID=11
It's roughly a 16-week build time..I talked with them and I guess it's cause of parts/backorders. I'm not worried about it, I'm going to Iraq for 4 months here in Sept. so I'm ordering it right before I leave, and then calling when I get back and having it sent to me.
Tomorrow I'm pulling out the Tranny and I'm getting the car setup for the swap before I leave. That and I've been picking up all the little parts for it as well.

Here is the Clutch I'm goin with..

This is the Shifter I'm goin with..
http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...d253ad4aefc079
And the Shift **** here..

The Convertor is already sold..I'm actually having the Tranny re-built..the hard parts are still good. I pulled it out earlier today, one of the Clutches had disentegrated and that lead to failure of the whole thing. I'm just getting a new Clutch & Band Kit and having it re-done.

I plan on putting it in the Truck after the rebuild..unless you hit me with a good price there paul ..it will hold up to what you have no problem.

XxWs6MaNxX I have a perfectly good running 4L60E that I just pulled out of my LT1 96 WS6 if your interested. Doing a complete transplant for my car (sig for details) I live about 2 hours fro Cabot. I only want $400 for the tranny, I already sold my 4L60E converter. Let me know if your interested, has about 45,000 miles on it.

Paul, quit effin around and get an FLT already. Last tranny you'll ever have to buy, especially with their sweet refresh special. Plus, they have free shipping right now. Then get a badas Yank and call it a day. You're car is screaming for a good tranny/verter combo!!
