We need some GOOD tuners in the metro area, I see alot of bad feedback from local area shops about their tuning capabilities. No shops seem to wanna do SD or tune cars correctly.
Just my $0.02

I'd kind of like to see a shop actually pay for advertising instead of sitting around belittling the shops that are actually doing it right.... but I guess gone are the days of RP motorsports

Shop's that do it right??? Everybody do's things there own way, but that dosn't make them right. You want it done right, buy your own software and do it your self, that way nobody is to blame except for yourself. That's how you cure that problem!!

"looks at the start menu and sees efilive and hptuners.." you don't have to preach to the choir. However, 99% of people won't want to or don't want to tune themselves and will leave it in the trusted hands of the experienced professionals(like my dad or you or whoever). However, what I said has nothing to do with anyones tuning ability.

I'm talking about professionalism. If you want to run a shop and work on lsx cars , so be it. If you want to run a shop and advertise on the biggest and most influential lsx website, do it the right way. Non Sponsors shouldn't come in here cutting down the sponsors that pay for their advertising. If you think you are a better tuner... pay for advertising and be professional about it... not slaps to the face of the sponsor in every thread possible.

and to the original poster, first I would suggest speaking to Nine Ball about advertising for your new shop. Once you have that, then you can start asking everything you want. But FYI, every good shop needs someone to answer the phones, someone to work on the cars, someone to tune the cars, and someone for pr. Take a look at Vengeance. They have a good set of mechanics(buddy, etc), a tuner(mike), someone to answer the phone(the lovely ladies and/or ron) and someone to advertise(check teh dyno section and look for Ron@vengeance).... They have a truly well run company, and they did it right... you didn't here a damn thing about them until they sponsored up.

There is no doubt you are an excellent fabricator... I mean just look at that.. its beautiful

but why won't you and will become a sponsor here so you can advertise? I'm willing to bet you would get a **** ton of work after all the power and recognition you made with Hunter's car... but instead you choose to make childish remarks about the tuning ability of other atlanta shops.

FOTIS. Seriously stop coming on here pimping the shop your trying to open. Do what the rest of us sponsors on here do and pay your montly dues to internet brands, and then you can come one here starting post like this. Word of advise as well dont **** off other sponsors on here especialy ones that are close to you. Worry about making a good name for yourself, and people will follow. Till then do what the rest of us do and pay up.

The stall in my 4l60e went out and a buddy of mine said I could turn it into a manual? He said that his brother's cousin who knows this guy named Bubba installed a Textralia clutch into his 4l60e...could you do this for my car? I want to be fast, and as we all know..autos are slow.

We know he is not a sponsor and has been warned.
Now we got jackbags like you trying to down somebody that wants to better themselves. Not taking his side, but give the guy props for wanting to be on his own and not work for somebody else!
Who do you work for again???????

If there was a clear cut answer as to how to market one of these shops to perfection, a substantial number of us would already be doing so. Fact is, the market is **** poor, and operating capital is at an all time low, generally speaking. A full circle facility could no doubt be a success, but often there is a lack of knowledge, marketing, customer service skills, and staffing, and sometimes a combination of more than one which keeps a facility from being truly successful.

Not that this next comment has anything to do with anything, but...

Hunter is a ***.
