Moving to Atlanta
Moving to Atlanta as the title says ill be moving to north atlanta in a few weeks. Just wondering if anyone could give me any info on emissions shops in that area. being from florida my car doesnt have any cat/egr/air, there any shops u guys know of that are favorable to f-bodys? haha.
what about clubs? or meets? whats the car "scene" like in atlanta, how bad are the cops? thanks for any info guys...

Welcome to Atlanta!! Never had a problem with emissions either...I'm in Cobb County. Depending on what county depends on how cops react when they hear a loud car and what time of night your cruising around. If your cruising through Cobb after midnight, expect to get pulled over if you ride by an officer. I've been pulled over several times but let go because I wasn't doing anything wrong. They were more or less checking for DUI. Still annoying though.

thanks for all the replies guys. ill be located in fulton county, alpharetta to be exact which is just north of atl i believe. im moving up there because of my dad, he got transferred so im following for now. im just about out of college in a few weeks and will be moving to atl for a while untill i figure out whats goin on haha.

Alpharetta isn't bad. Emissions shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't have a check engine light on. That's really all they check for on OBD2 cars. As far as clubs, check out musclecar-evolution.com. Good group of guys there.
