There was only 1 96 "Z28SS" built in quasar blue and it was a 95 model Z28 used by GM/SLP as a prototype for the upcoming SS. Reason why the car had "Z28SS" badges is dumbass SLP early on was planning on combining the two trim level names. Idiots.... GM told them that **** wasn't gonna fly, and most everything was changed to only say "SS" on the 96 cars except for the airbox which was already in production. For whatever reason Quasar blue was not offered on the production 96 or 97 SS. You can find a picture of this prototype car in one of the recently published Camaro books that you'd find at Borders. I can't remember which one but I think it's one that actually breaks each generation down into it's own chapter of the book. I've tried to find a pic on the net for years with no luck. Maybe someone with this book will scan the photo.
So, if you want Q blue SS you'll have to build your own which won't be hard.
