I like the Ol Lumpy spoiler because it is differant. Everyone has the Hi rise spoiler. I like to be a little differant.

A Firehawk/Trans Am is rare enough already. If you're driving one now, you're already different.

I think the 2nd version of the SLP spoiler was better (I am biased though

). It was offered the last 2 years as the 10 anniversary spoiler for '01, part of the 10th package, and as an option for all firehawks in -'02 . It was the most functional spoiler ever placed on the F-body in the entire 35 years of production. The regular TA spoiler is pretty much worthless when it comes to aerodynamic performance.

'Ole Lumpy was never popular option, aka the odd stepchild but I never asked the Chief Eng. of SLP (Jeff Yachnin) what it's aerodynamics were... I can ask though

. Either way, for those of you that have 'ole lumpy it's definitely a great conversation piece and a piece of F-body history

i see absolutely no point in have that spoiler.
I think its ugly as can be, and sorry rare or not its hideous. I would sell the hatch back to wal-mart and call it a day.

The T/A spoiler looks awesome, but "Ole Lumpy" really grew on me and I think it looks at least just as good. Ugly or not, it sets Firehawks even further apart from each other.

You mean the "chief engineer?" I'm not too sure what an "enginger" is. Is that some kind of spice similar to ginger? And if Jeff spelled engineer like that, he probably didn't design anything but his own padded room.

I think Old Lumpy looks different but not bad I wish I had the Iroc styled one.I like it best, But next to that I like the Formula better than the T/A which IMO is just gawdy like a giant ring on a skinny finger.
