sealing air box on ws6

How thick should the foam be that i will use to seal the air box to the hood?

1.25X1.25 on my Firehawk, should be the same on your WS6.

You can use Playdough/modeling clay to find out for sure.

this is a newbie question, but what is the purpose for the airbox seal... when I got my SS this summer the seals under the hood had been removed

If they aren't sealed up, then how is it going to "ram" all that air into the intake? Otherwise it's just slipping out into the engine bay. Nevertheless, the gain is questionable.

The Hawk foam has to be thicker than the ws6...
the ws6 should be 1 1/16.
also sealing the SS is kinda useless. Air dones not run directly into the box like it does on the nostrils of the ws6.
