I’m currently trying to figure out how many of the 1999 ws6 formula’s were made. I’ve read through a few forums stating in 99’ that only about 175 of them were made in that trim. I’ll provide some pictures to go along. Title states formula ws6. I want it to be true although I wanted to double and triple check.

the door stickers have the ws6 codes, and there was a total of 175 formula ws6’s made in 99’. That’s where I’m confused
but the ones I’m looking at don’t have the raised spoiler. Not sure what I have anymore now that I’ve dived deeper into it. It’s a hell of a car IMO just wasn’t sure what it was.
You are correct that 175 WS6 Formulas were made for the 1999 model year, but the car you have pictured above is NOT a Formula - it appears to be a Trans Am.
WS6 Trans Ams are much, much more common than their Formula counterparts. What made you assume this car was a Formula in the first place? Are you basing that on a VIN decoder? If so, then I understand the issue. All V8 Firebirds are listed as "Formula" via the VIN, but that's not necessarily the final model designation (it could also be a Trans Am).
You can figure this out definitively by checking your SPID sticker on the driver's door jamb again. If you see the code "Y82" then it is in fact a Trans Am (as it would appear to be in the pictures). If it was an actual WS6 Formula (which the pictures do not indicate) then instead of having the Y82 code it would have a "W66" code.
Both a Trans Am and a Formula can have the WS6 package in that model year. So the combined codes would either be WS6 & Y82, or WS6 & W66 (but you would not see W66 and Y82 together).
It’s a hell of a car IMO just wasn’t sure what it was.
Unless someone spent a lot of time pulling the Firebird/Formula body parts off the car (rear hatch, front & rear bumper facias) and installing T/A body parts, like RPM indicates, it says what it is right on the doors.
