Confusing SS now with picture.
well its confusing because theres conflicting things here. it is a true ss but unless the 330 rating is estimated power to the wheels theres something up. the dash plaque on the dash... in the right spot and everything claims it to be 385/387. i ASSUME that means at the flywheel so as to get that "330hp" rating. any thoughts on this?

Cool!!! was that a heads and cam package that was bought from the factory? Because the highest output SLP would publish is the
345hp that was on the '02 Firehawks and optioned SSs. Any ratings like the Blackbirds and other "factory affiliated" shops rate Hp at the flywheel. Did you buy the car off the lot, or did you buy preowned where the previous owner might have had one of SLP's pachages installed?

dash plaque that plaque came from www.afterthoughts.com, (interior thoughts) 40.00, you can get them any way you like
The special package were 380hp cars (Bergers, Tom Henrys, Hot Rod, etc). I have the same plaque that says 345HP from Afterthoughts Auto.
Put her on the dyno though... there are plenty of factory freeks that dyno pretty good!
